Croydon Landscaping Project

At Outdoor Blitz, we recently had the pleasure of completing a backyard project in Croydon that included a concrete slab for a shed, a concrete sleeper retaining wall, and a block retaining wall. Our client was looking for a durable and functional solution for their backyard space that would withstand the test of time and provide them with the added storage they needed.

The first step in this project was to create a sturdy foundation for the shed. We started by excavating the area and levelling the ground before pouring a high-quality concrete slab. The slab was reinforced with steel mesh to ensure maximum strength and durability. The end result was a smooth and level surface that was perfect for supporting the weight of the shed.

Next, we turned our attention to the retaining walls. The client had requested a mix of concrete sleeper and block retaining walls to provide additional support for the backyard and to create a defined area for their garden. We used high-quality materials to construct the walls and carefully considered the placement to ensure they were both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

The concrete sleeper retaining wall was constructed using reinforced concrete sleepers that were set in place with galvanised steel posts. The posts were driven deep into the ground to ensure maximum stability, and the sleepers were bolted securely to the posts. We also added drainage behind the wall to prevent water buildup and ensure the wall would last for many years to come.

The end result was a stunning and functional retaining wall that added visual interest to the space and provided the support that was needed. Overall, we were thrilled with the end result of this project. Our client was extremely happy with the quality of our work and the functionality of their new backyard space.
