Pet-Friendly Turf Installation
The dogs at this Longueville property had dug and worn the natural lawn back to dirt. Artificial turf with antimicrobial infill was laid over a base built with extra drainage capacity so the surface can be hosed down, and the edges were reinforced so they stay put under heavy use.

What the site presented
Lawn worn back to dirt
Digging and constant traffic from the household dogs had taken the natural lawn back to bare ground.
Nothing that could be cleaned down
Pet waste on a natural lawn left no practical way to wash the area down.
What we built
Turf selected for pet use
A hard-wearing turf with antimicrobial infill was chosen for a household with active dogs.
Extra drainage in the base
The base was built with additional drainage capacity so the surface can be hosed down and water leaves rather than sitting under it.
