Concrete steppers and white Cowra pebbles through the side access

The project
The side access at this North Ryde property turned to mud in wet weather and grew weeds the rest of the time. Concrete stepping stones were bedded to give a stable walking surface, and white Cowra pebbles were laid over weed mat to cover the ground between them.
Project details
Bare ground left the side access muddy and difficult to use in wet weather.
With nothing covering the ground, weeds came back through the side access continually.
Concrete stepping stones were bedded and levelled to give a stable surface that does not rock underfoot.
White Cowra pebbles were laid over weed mat between the steppers to cover the bare ground. Edges and the pebble surface still need normal care.
