Curved recycled brick planter boxes with timber screening and fresh planting

The project
A Glebe courtyard where loose pots and overgrown planting had taken over the floor. Curved planter boxes were built in recycled brick to suit the heritage setting, a timber screen was added in the rear corner, the planting was renewed with drip irrigation, the paving was tidied and the garden edges were defined.
Project details
Pots and overgrown planting took up the usable area of an already small courtyard.
The rear corner needed screening without closing off light or airflow into the courtyard.
Matching curved planter boxes were built in recycled brick, giving the planting real depth and taking it off the floor.
A timber screen with planting was built into the rear corner, positioned for the sightline rather than around the whole boundary.
