Courtyard and garden improvements in Forest Lodge, including new surfaces, built-in planting, lawns and outdoor seating areas.
Your outdoor space
We can create courtyard seating, built-in beds and paths that leave room to move through the garden. Planning for furniture and opening doors helps establish the usable floor area. Lawn and planted borders are positioned around available light and the space needed for growth.
A Glebe courtyard where loose pots and overgrown planting had taken over the floor. Curved planter boxes were built in recycled brick to suit the heritage setting, a timber screen was added in the rear corner, the planting was renewed with drip irrigation, the paving was tidied and the garden edges were defined.

Garden questions
It can use an edge of the garden efficiently, particularly beside a planter. Its position and dimensions should suit how people will sit and move through the space.
Yes. Start with what you want to do outside and what is not working in the garden. Outdoor Blitz can help plan the layout, surfaces and planting alongside the construction work. If you already have a plan, share it with your enquiry so the proposed work can be discussed.
Yes. Let us know the width of side passages, any steps and whether access is through the house or a shared area. This helps establish how materials and removed surfaces could be moved, and whether the proposed work is practical. Access requirements are checked before the scope is agreed.
The area being changed, materials, removal of existing surfaces, ground preparation and access all affect the cost. The choice of surface, soil requirements and finished levels help define the work involved. Describe the changes you want so the quote can cover the work involved; photographs can help show the starting point.
