A defined route can make a side yard more useful and connect the house to the rest of the garden. Our North Ryde stepping-stone project shows a defined route through the side garden. We also install continuous paths, lawns and planted beds, with the surface chosen for walking, bins or other everyday use.
The side access at this North Ryde property turned to mud in wet weather and grew weeds the rest of the time. Concrete stepping stones were bedded to give a stable walking surface, and white Cowra pebbles were laid over weed mat to cover the ground between them.
