Raised vegetable planter with drip irrigation and a proper soil mix
The project
Planter Box Installation
This Ashfield property had compacted ground and very little space suited to growing vegetables. A raised planter box was built to fit the available spot with enough soil depth for food crops, filled with a suitable soil mix, and fitted with drip irrigation so watering stays consistent.

What the site presented
Very little ground to plant into
The property had almost no ground space suited to growing vegetables in the soil.
Compacted, poor soil
What ground there was had been compacted and would not have supported productive growing.
What we built
Raised planter built to fit
A raised planter was built to suit the available space, sized for the soil depth vegetables need and built from materials suitable for food growing.
Drip irrigation inside the planter
Drip irrigation was installed inside the planter to make watering practical. Its operation and soil moisture still need checking as the planting grows.
